Happy Valentine's Day to us! We named our little six week old golden retriever/lab Nala, and she couldn't be any cuter! This is her on her first night, stumbling around and trying to figure out what is going on...February 10th.

A couple days later, still so cute, starting to make messes and definitely very scary to Buster and Ebony. They're used to running the house, and now they've got this clumsy little puppy trying to chew on them and stealing way too much of the humans' attenion. Ha!

She was very cuddly at first, now only when she's really tired or when she just had a bath.

Ebony's still not sure what to think-she wants to play with Nala but she doesn't trust her enough to put her claws away yet.

Almost too cute for words...she will come and sit on command, sits for a treat every time she comes back inside, and is learning that her little teeth are very sharp, too sharp for human skin.  She's ringing the bells when she wants to go outside and only goes inside on puppy pads when she's downstairs in her pen.

She's growing like crazy, and is already twice as big as when we got her! We weighed her this weekend.  We're having so much fun with our newest adventure!

Even Buster, who thinks he deserves all the attention, has fallen in love with her.  Her newest task is learning to sit on a frisbee when she finds one-that will be super helpful when we throw ours in the woods...

This is going to be a fun summer outside with the dogs-we spent the whole weekend at a nearby park with lots of walking trails and are all exhausted but very happy.
